Leona Husar

Leona L. Husar, 82, of Coal Valley passed away June 27, 2019 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Quad Cities Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.

Leona was born April 7, 1937 in Moline, IL the daughter of Oscar and Rose Roets Polacek. She married George Husar September 29, 1956 in Moline. Leona enjoyed crappie fishing, gardening, painting statues and figurines, and camping in Wisconsin.

Survivors include her husband George; children Lisa (Robert) Ochab, Brenda (Matt) Lemburg, Chris Husar, and Curt (Jeanette) Husar; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a sister Norene (Richard) LeComte.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Juanita Coon.
