Karla Corbin

Karla J. Corbin, 61, of Colona passed away May 12, 2020 at Aspen Health and Rehab in Silvis.
Due to restrictions of COVID 19 the family will be having a celebration of life at a later date. Quad Cities Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.
Karla was born December 11, 1958 in Cedar Rapids, IA the daughter of Kenneth and Alice Peck Wallace. She married Jack L. Corbin February 9, 2008 in Olin, IA. He passed away December 14, 2016. Karla worked as a private duty nurse in the Cedar Rapids area. She was a very giving person who would take in any one in need. She enjoyed crafting and gardening.
Survivors include her children Samantha Herman of Colona, Rachel Herman of Manchester, IA and Meri Herman of Colona; adopted daughter Jennifer (Jason) Wasson; granddaughter Elizabeth; adopted grandchildren Cody, Alexis, and Haven Goehl and Hunter Wasson; sisters Judy of Anamosa, IA, Linda of Olin, IA, and Iva of Yorktown, VA; niece Candy Wallace and life long friend Jane Joslin.
