Karen Anderson

Karen Sue Anderson, 74, of Davenport passed away peacefully December 16, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Per her wishes Karen will be cremated and there will be no services.

Karen was born July 31, 1945 in Rock Island, IL the daughter of Auggie and Gertrude Emrick Koester. She graduated from Rock Island High School. Karen married Richard Anderson April 26, 1996. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband, ceramics and baking for the holidays. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and spoiling her cat Ginger.

Survivors include her husband Richard; children Jill Tucker, Tonya (Ronnie) Anderson, Julie (John) Cline, Don (Lisa) Anderson, James Handley, and Tammy (Mike) Whited; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and siblings Gerry (Gale) Koester, Raelyn (David) Snyder, and Joanne (Tom) Boetger.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Gary and Ted Koester, and sons Rodney Tucker and Timothy Means.
