Jackie Coyle

Jackie Lee Coyle, 62, of Davenport passed away Monday June 29th, 2020 at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Davenport.
Memorial services will be held Saturday July 11th, 2020 and be cremated per his request, because he always said his kids could split the money (lol). His sense of humor will be missed.
Jackie was born August 17th, 1957 in Portsmouth, Ohio to Carl and Alberta Coyle. He married Roberta Brown July 7th, 1978 and later divorced. His parents proceed him in death.
Jack has always worked hard to provide for his family and would give his shirt off his back and help anyone. His health conditions began to go down hill and had a lot of lung issues. He fought till his last breath when the Lord gained an angel.
Family was very important to him and he always reminded us that your family will always be around but no one else owes you anything. That’s why watching his grandkids was so important. He loved to cook and specialty was his famous hamburgers with steak sauce. Later in life he enjoyed collecting food he didn’t need and taking care of friend Donna, who was like a second mother to him.
Always being around at the drop of a dime and being early was who he truly was. Speak your mind and never bite your tongue was his motto. We promise to make you proud of us dad and we will always strive to put family first.
He is survived by his daughter, Cathy, and her children, Elexxis, Mariah and Journee. Also his son, Bobby and wife, Nene and 6 children.
