Sandra J. Wheeler

Sandra J. Wheeler, 81 of Rock Island, IL passed away on July 21, 2025.

Cremation rites will be accorded with no services.

Sandy was born June 4, 1944 in Moline, IL, daughter of Charles Weaver and Joyce Marie (Walker) Neal. She graduated from United Township High School in 1962. She married Robert E. Wheeler in Iowa City, IA on February 17, 1966.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family playing bingo, cards and especially arts and crafts. Together Sandy and her husband opened Wheeler Dealer Ceramics. She taught painting classes weekly and worked at Target for many years.

We would like to thank her special friends at St. Anthonys Nursing and Rehab for the many years of companionship and care.

Survivors include her sister, Charlotte Ramos. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers Wayne and Robert Neal. Two sisters, Dolores Kaplan and Beth Ann Neal.
