Kenneth Dickey

Kenneth Dickey, 72, of Silvis passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 at Aspen Rehab & Health Care Center, Silvis.

Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life will be held 12pm Saturday June 6, 2020 at his home (1913 15th St. Silvis Apt. 5). Memorials may be made to the family. Schroder Mortuary, Silvis is handling the arrangements.

Kenneth was born on April 15, 1948 in Morris Chapel, Tennessee the son of Doug Dickey and Victoria Shotwell. He enjoyed cooking, walking, listening to music, and shooting pool. After 28 years, Kenneth retired as a butcher from the Tyson plant in Joslin.

Survivors include his spouse Carol Brown; daughter Victoria Dickey; stepchildren Gabrielle Brown, Antonio Williams, Jesse Smith (Samantha Wells), Shanique Ellis and Daveon Ellis; siblings Myra, Stella, Bobbie, and Roger.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents.
