David A. Dooley

David A Dooley went home to be with the Lord on May 15, 2024 surrounded by his family at the Fountains Independent Living Center at the age of 82. 

He was born on February 3rd 1942, in Rock Island, IL, and was preceded in death by his wife Pamela K.  Dooley; sister Beverly; brother Russell. 

He is survived by his sister (Shirley (Richard) Knight), children (Kimberly, Thomas, Molly, Timothy), and grandchildren (Ashly, Zachary, Shelby, Olivia, Isabella, and Tyler).

David married Pamela K Heflin on December 1st, 1963. He worked in many industries including Farmall of Rock Island, IL, Navastar of SpringField, Ohio, and Bettendorf Community School District of Bettendorf, Iowa. He had a great love for watching westerns with his dog Daisy. He enjoyed trivia nights at The Fountains and spending time with his family and friends there. He greatly loved his wife Pam and helped her pursue her many passions. 

The family would like to thank the staff at The Fountains for all of their assistance in these final months, the Saint Croix Hospice for their support and advice, and the Ward family for their love and concern from the very beginning of this journey. 

The visitation will be at The Fountains 3726 Thunder Ridge Rd., Bettendorf, Iowa, Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 1:00pm - 2:00PM; with service to follow.
