Daryl J. Ferguson

Daryl James “Jim” Ferguson, 74, passed away Tuesday, April 15 at MercyOne Genesis in Silvis.

Per his wishes he will be cremated with no services. His inurnment will be at the Rock Island Arsenal.

He was born in Oskaloosa, Iowa on July 18, 1950 to Daryl and Jeanette Ferguson. After graduating from Bettendorf High School he served in the Marine Corp as a Sergeant from 1970-1974. For many years he was a laborer for Local 309 until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf and NASCAR.

He is survived by sisters Cindy (Rich) Perry of Moline and Mary Presson of Coal Valley, niece Sarah Perry and nephews Alex Perry and Mark Presson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Ron and nephew Michael Presson.
