Darrell F. Longlett

Darrell Longlett passed away on Saturday February 28th, 2026. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service in his honor will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Davenport IA on Tuesday March 10th at 11:00am, with visitation one hour before the service starting at 10:00am and a luncheon get together after the service..

Darrell was born August 19th, 1943, to Floyd and Dorothy (Jurgens) Longlett and married Kathy (Stebens) Longlett on February 29th, 1964. Celebrating 62 years of marriage.

Darrell’s family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were very important to him, and he loved them very much!

He was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church Davenport IA, worked for the U.S.P.S. (United States Postal Service), Bi-State local APWU, IL for 36 years and had volunteered with the Scott County Sheriff's Posse for 25 years. He also was a member of the Blue Knights motorcycle club and the Quad City Cruisers car club.

Memorials may be made to Blue Grass Fire Department, Blue Grass Library, or Zion Lutheran Food Pantry.

His family would like to thank everyone for all their thoughts and prayers, also we would like to thank Mercy One Hospice for the compassionate care given.
