Connie Daugherty

Connie Lou Daugherty, 73, of Geneseo passed away August 8, 2017 at her home after a short battle with acute myeloid leukemia.

At her request, no services will be held. Donations in her honor may be made to UnityPoint Hospice - Quad Cities.

Connie was born April 7, 1944 in Princeton, IL to Marshall and Cleta Stutzman. She graduated from Buda High School and Midstate College in Peoria. She worked at Jostens in Princeton where she met her future husband William Daugherty. They married in 1969 and ran their own recognition award business, first in Crystal Lake and later in Geneseo. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, home decorating, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Bill; daughter Julie (Scott) Prigge of Port Byron; son Craig (Kristi) Daugherty of Edelstein; grandchildren Hannah and Sarah Prigge, and Camille, Nadine, and Hank Daugherty; brother Donald Stutzman of Geneseo; and sister Judith (Gary) Clark of Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Dolores Barnett.
