Christine Marshall

Christine Marshall “Sunshine”, 82, of Geneseo passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Allure of the Quad Cities in Moline.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Christine was born July 8, 1943 in Rock Island, IL the daughter of David and Irene Dargie. She married Raymond C. Marshall, “PoorRay” March 5, 1971 in Rock Island, IL. Christine worked for Fromi Tax Services, AmeriFile Tax and had her own tax service, Marshall Tax Services, for 30 years.

Chris enjoyed spending her time crafting- her family and friends welcomed her many homemade birthday and Christmas cards over the years. She also enjoyed doing puzzles and reading murder mysteries.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; Aunt Tina Hay,(James); Aunt Agnes Goodsir Dargie, and Aunt Florence Dargie.

Survivors include her husband Raymond; children Charlie (Connie) Marshall of Kahoka, MO; Brenda (Eddie) Taylor of Childress, TX and Scott Marshall of Geneseo, IL; grandchildren Nathan (Amanda) Marshall; Nancy (Keith) Whitaker and Cassie Neece; and great-grandchildren Katherine, Kyliee, Karley, Kaydey, Aiden, James, Kenzliee. Great grand-pups Rally and Rookie.
