Bruce Woods

Bruce Woods, 73, of Coal Valley passed away June 21, 2023 at River Crossing of Moline.

Cremation rites have been accorded and there are no services. Memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity in his memory.

Quad Cities Cremation Center is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bruce was born January 16, 1950 in Moline the son of Joseph and Beverly (Pellegrini) Woods. Bruce graduated from Rock Island High school in 1968, attended Webster City and Illinois State. Bruce retired as a manager for Road Side Auto, enjoyed classis cars, NASCAR, and dirt track racing. Bruce was an avid golfer and a member of Pinnacle Country Club in Milan.

Survivors include his son Mike (Dawn) Dunbar, brother Jeffrey (Maggie) Woods, sisters, Laurie Fennesy and Barbara (Jim) Bertelsen, grandchildren Mackenzie, Kristopher, Andrew, Haley, Severina and Joseph, two great grandchildren.

The family wishes to Thank Tammy, Rich, and the staff of Promedica Hospice for their kindness and support.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Nichole, and stepfather Al Pellegrini
